29th April 2014 is a key moment in shaping the future of Swindon.

It is the day of the final stage of the planning cycle for the Swindon Local Plan, which will be in force until 2026.

A Planning Inspector will conduct a series of hearings over the coming 4 weeks, at which he will raise a number of questions which explore the DRAFT Swindon Local Plan.  The purpose will be to establish whether the DRAFT is suitable for Approval; if he finds that it is, then the Plan will guide the development of our town until 2026.
